His real name is a well kept secret and Esrah Grovene is a name he saw on a random grave.
He's not human at all and is in fact a hound straight from the bowels of hell.
Takes murder contracts from both humans and supernatural creatures alike.
Being a hit man is of more his side gig than anything else.
Owned by a demon and must do as it says, when it says.
Desperately trying to break free of his demon.


The Hound
Esrah's hound usually takes the shape of an exceptionally large doberman, although it can appear as different canines or canine-like creatures to different people. It can only be seen by other supernatural or demonic entities, those with "the sight", or anyone who it has been sent after. In this form, his eyes hold a continuous red glow and wisps of smoke similar to that of a smoldering fire leap from his body. The ground where his feet touch is left behind blackened or singed.
He is completely bound to his demon, albeit unwillingly, and thanks to a magical collar. The only way he can become free of his demon is by removal of said collar, which any attempts at such have remained futile thus far. Esrah, and his hound, may seem cruel and otherwise uncaring for other's lives, but his demon is by far much, much, worse. Where his demon goes, he goes, unless otherwise given free roam or sent out on a task. He's mainly used as an errand boy to collect the souls of people who have broken contracts with his demon, or those whose time or deals have come due. So, in a sense, he is also used as a reaper.
